I'm undoubtedly guilty of flaunting my own status symbols, but after living most of my life here in the South, I found myself nodding along and agreeing with every tweet in this thread.
There's a level of toxicity that goes along with truck culture that you don't see with other hobbies (for lack of a better word).
(I'm extra motivated to link to this after one of those $90k testosterone rides ran me to the side of the road last night for "only" doing 80 in a 65.)
